Michele Carey, known by her birth name Michele Lee Henson, born in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America she is the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr physician and Thelma Brennell Henson. When she was a teenager, she excelled at playing the piano. At just 13 she took home an international prize at the Chicago Music Festival. The family settled in Fort Collins, Colorado with her family. She completed her high school education in Fort Collins High School where she was graduated in the year 1960.
